The paladin is the sixth tier unit of the Knight faction in Heroes of Might and Magic II, recruited by building a cathedral. While they are the weakest of all the sixth tier units in terms of stats, their growth is only equaled by the cyclops, they are one of only two sixth tier units to not require other resources for their recruitment, and they may attack twice when fighting enemies. It can be upgraded to the crusader.
