Herbert Francis Wauthier (1881-1964) was an engraver and local politician in the Southgate area. Wauthier was known for his work engraving bookplates, working for F. Osborne & Co Ltd., which became Wauthier Osborne Guild Ltd. He was also responsible for some memorial brasses, A member of Southgate Borough Council, he was Mayor of Southgate in 1936-37.
