Khameir Sarin was a Male Zabrak who left the Jedi Order and became better known as Darth Maul. He was the twentieth Jedi to leave the Order, becoming a member of the Lost Twenty. Sarin believed that the Republic could never be fixed and eventually met Darth Sidious, who became his true master. Maul served Trade Federation Viceroy Nute Gunray and Sidious during the invasion of Naboo. Although the battle was lost, the second attempt at taking the planet sparked the Clone Wars, which were part of the Sith's plans to control the galaxy. Maul had fled the battle, leaving Gunray to be captured.
