The Deep Core Campaign, codenamed "Operation Citadel" by Krayt's forces, was an operation carried out by the Imperial Navy loyal to Darth Krayt from 134 ABY to 137 ABY, attempting to remove Grand Admiral Sarek Zaarin's defected Deep Core Reserve Fleet, which was now loyal to Roan Fel, from the Deep Core. It was largely a failure, up until 137 ABY, when Zaarin's forces were exhausted and finally pushed out of the Core. However, much of his fleet was able to survive since it escaped using a secret hyperspace route that his scouts mapped years ago. In total, the Krayt-loyal navy lost some 100 capital ships during the attempted offensives, along with countless fighters.
