The Steel Plate Mail top is a plate mail top that is weaker than the Black Plate Mail top but stronger than the Iron Plate Mail top. It can be exchanged for a Steel Plate Mail Body and vice-versa by using the item to convert on Thrander in south-eastern Varrock. The Steel Plate Mail top can be purchased at Zenesha's Plate Mail Shop in East Ardougne, near the bank. It can only be worn by female characters with a defense level of 5 or higher.
