The USS Werner von Braun (NCC-72069) was a Galaxy (II)-class Federation starship, launched from San Francisco Fleet Yards in 2373, and commissioned in 2374. During the Dominion War, she was the flagship of the Second Fleet, leading Task Force 21. Her commanding officer was Rear Admiral Seth Boreanaz.
