By the 24th century, the Equatorial Ocean was one of the largest bodies of water remaining on the surface of Ocampa as the planet slowly turned into a desert over the course of a thousand years. As the name suggests, the ocean was situated at the equator and circled the entire planet. Islands could be found throughout the ocean. The Equatorial Ocean cut the two hemispheres of the planet in half and created two large continents, one in the north and one in the south. (Decipher RPG module: Worlds)
