Captain T'Vran was a Vulcan freighter captain in the 2150s. In 2155, T'Vran was in command of the Kiri-kin-tha when the ship was on a mission to recover secret materials from the ECS Kobayashi Maru. Subcommander Ych'a was serving on the ship as a V'Shar agent and she insisted that the captain allow her to use Trip Tucker for intelligence missions. T'Vran did not appreciate this, but gave in as she had no choice. (ENT novel: Beneath the Raptor's Wing) The Vulcan science vessel T'Vran from DS9: "Vortex" may have been named for this individual.
