An annual children's pageant that has taken place in the Perch Palace Mall since 1980, and before that, at the Comet Fire roller rink since 1953, Little Miss Pumpkin Patch has had a small but dedicated audience throughout the years. It is a standard pageant; with judges in their sixties who might have once been bathing suit models, overly obsessed mothers that smell eternally of hairspray, and young girls who like being pretty but otherwise have little grip of what's going on. They take place in October and have an Autumn theme.
