The Vaeringjar Paladin's were a caste within the Templars of Twilight, consisting of Vaeringjar force sensitive warriors trained as Templars, but using the armor, weapons, and fighting styles of their ancestors. A Vaeringjar Paladin, would normally wield either a Ljósøx, or a Ljósmækir and a Vaeringjar Shield made of járn to resist lightsabers and blasters. Traditionally a Vaeringjar Paladin wore clothing and robes made of Balfugl leather. In more Ceremonial instances and in some cases into battle, they would wear metallic chest plates and bracers.
