Admiral Palmieri was a United Earth Starfleet officer during the 22nd century. In 2155, Malcolm Reed told Trip Tucker to talk to Palmieri about the feared Romulan threat when Admiral Gardner refused to listen. (ENT novel: The Good That Men Do) Palmieri was presumably named after Pocket Books editor Marco Palmieri.
