The New Republic Department of Research and Development (also known as New Republic Research and Development and previously known as Rebel Alliance Research and Development) was a department of the New Republic responsible for developing technology for use by the New Republic. The department's fate following the reorganization of the New Republic into the Galactic Alliance is currently unknown.
