The Capanthall were the Capustan city garrison under the command of Prince Jelarkan. By law they were not allowed to number more than two thousand soldiers. Additionally, the best of the Capanthall were constantly being poached by the Gidrath, the private forces of the city's various temples which were represented by the prince's rival in government, the Mask Council.
