Topal Bay, or the Topal Sea, is a bay in the southern part of Tamriel that encompasses the coasts of Elsweyr, Cyrodiil and Black Marsh. It is named after an Aldmer explorer, Topal the Pilot, who discovered the bay, the Nibenay Valley and its many rivers, such as the Niben River. During the Second Era, the Maormer controlled most of the Topal Bay through outposts.
