SS Imperator is an retired Ocean Liner built for the Hamburg America Line launched in 1912. She is the first of a trio of succesfully larger Hamburg America SShips that includes SS Vaterland and SS Bismark built by the Line for Transatlantic Passenger Service. At the time of her completion in June 1913, she was the largest Passenger in the World, superseding the RMS Olympic. The Ship was the first Ocean Liner to be transferred to the Port of Long Beach, California, United States, where she remains permanently moored.
