Ryan Reynolds was set to take the leading role as Connor MacLeod until June 17th, 2013 when it was announced he had left the project in pre-production due to "development hell". With the lack of both a lead actor and a director, it is unknown if this film is still planned. It was known to be titled "The Highlander".
