The series has been set in a contemporary setting so far and it has been announced that there will be several spin-offs to be set in the 1940s during World War II and in the 1960s during the Vietnam War. As of December 27th, 2013, the franchise has surpassed expectations and has received overwhelmingly positive reviews. The franchise has overall made over $688 Million in sales.
