The Chalactan are a species of near-humans native to Chalacta. They are noted as a spiritual race, who value the benefits of meditation and prayer. They are also known for the religion of the Chalactan Adepts. The Adepts stress a concept known as Chalactan Enlightenment. Its chief tenet reads simply, "As Without, so Within", a constant reminder that the natural laws which govern the planets and stars also control the life of an Enlightened individual.
