Mr Dixon was a salesman from the wholesalers who helped Florrie Lindley when she expressed a concern that the Corner Shop's books looked like they were running at a loss. He suggested that she be more forceful in getting her customers to settle their slates. Florrie didn't take his advice to heart with the result that a few weeks later she was unable to obtain new stock from him until she had cleared her own debts with his company.
