Atok was an Unas-hosted Goa'uld and the first Alpha Male of his people around 28,000 B.C., around the same time that the Goa'uld discovered a world formerly controlled by the Ancients through the Stargate on P3X-888. He was succeeded by his son, the physically superior Apep, in around 22,000 B.C. who murdered him in front of the other Goa'uld and later took his father's armies as his own.
