The Conference for Returning JETs is held every year for 2nd and 3rd year JETs who will be returning home to their respective countries after a considerable time in Japan. The aim of the conference is to provide information and guidance that will help adapt to the task of returning home. Areas addressed include reverse culture shock, future employment prospects and general administrative tasks to be completed before leaving. Attendance is free but optional, unlike other JET conferences. However JETs have to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses.
