Jo Ann Thompson appeared in 14 episodes of the CBS-TV series M*A*S*H, where she appeared as the aptly named Nurse Jo Ann. As a child, Jo Ann made an uncredited cameo appearance as a "Lewis Child" in the classic 1953 western film Shane which co-starred Alan Ladd, Jean Arthur, Van Heflin and Jack Palance.
