Gornlan was a small forest planet located on the outskirts of the Mid Rim. It was covered mostly in lush jungle rain forests. It was renowned for its mines and quarries which churned out vast quantities of stone and precious gems, chiefly sapphires. The population consisted mostly of Humans and Twi'leks. It was also home to various captains and crews from many planets who came to collect the stone.
