If you're not at a level where you can defeat the Furyhorn and just go a more direct route to the quest box at B/2-4/5, there is a hidden passage way you can take at C/2-4/5 just a ways away from your Skyship. This grants you back door access to the locked Golden box to obtain the item in question.
