These threads are used only by spiders and those who have learnt the Spider Sage Art such as Nui Zen'nou. They are placed along the ground, among the trees or throughout the walls of a cave and the users pick up the vibrations of passing animals or hidden enemies that step on these tripwires, alerting them and then they use the vibrations to guide them in the direction of their target(s).
