The Christmas Spirit is a spell created by Papa Smurf in the holiday special The Smurfs: A Christmas Carol as a way of showing Grouchy Smurf the true meaning of Christmas after he refuses to take part in any of the festivities. The spell causes Grouchy to be visited by the Three Smurfs of Christmas to show his past, his present, and his future.
