The legal dispute stretched from 2001 to 2005, the year that Kaga's second TearRing Saga title, Berwick Saga was released for the PlayStation 2. Following the release of Berwick Saga, Tirnanog has not produced any further titles. In 2015, Kaga announced that he is at work on an independently produced strategy RPG called Vestaria Saga: The Seven Sacred Rings. The game is being developed using SRPG Studio and Kaga's intention is to release it for free once it's finished. Vestaria Saga Part I was released as a free download on September 5, 2016.
