The 2008 Kroger On Track For The Cure 250 was a Nationwide Series event held at Memphis Motorsports Park on October 25, 2008. Carl Edwards won a topsy-turvy race at the track. Edwards and a few others took on tires during an early caution, and when the others had to pit during an unexpected green-flag run, Edwards was able to pin most of the field two laps down due to a caution. The left only five cars running on the lead lap at the end, as runner-up David Reutimann refused to bump-and-run Edwards on the final circuit. Shockers included Kenny Wallace in third (first ever top-five for Jay Robinson Racing) and Austin Dillon in fourth. Dillon was making just his second career start. Furthermore, Edwards closed into 116 points behind Clint Bowyer (16th) with just three races to go.
