Dace Sontan was a vampire who, under the influence of Bodhi, was placed in the Spellhold dungeon to guard the portal to the exit. Before this, he was the asylum's co-ordinator. When killed, he will retreat into his coffin, in which case he must be staked to relieve him from undeath. When this is done, you will gain the Hand of Dace. He is immune to +2 or lower weapons, making him a difficult opponent.
