Known as simply the trail, it is a particularly dangerous route through the forests of Kaedwen leading to the Lixela river. It is on the Kaedwen Trail that Geralt, Ciri and Triss Merigold encounter a caravan bound for Aedirn being escorted by Commissar Vilfrid Wenck, Yarpen Zigrin and his men. There is another route called "the trail" but known as "the Killer" to young witchers.
