Lianne of Conté, born Lianne of Naxen (pronounced lee-AHN of kohn-TAY/ NAKS-enn), was Queen of Tortall in the early 5th century HE, once her husband, King Roald I, succeeded King Jasson, until her death in 439 HE. She was a member of the Naxen family through birth, and the Conté family through marriage and was the sister of Duke Gareth. She only had one surviving child, Jonathan, who would go on to become a very influential ruler of Tortall. Queen Lianne is the namesake of two of her descendants: her granddaughter Princess Lianne and her great-granddaughter Princess Lianokami.
