Deralites were a large, wolf-like species with four legs and two arms. They mostly spoke Deralese, though they were capable of speaking Basic. They were on average nine feet and seven inches tall, though the smallest one was known to be five feet and nine inches, and the largest one was known to be fifteen feet tall. The Galactic Empire tried to enslave them and use them for their strength, but they found that Deralites are not easily drugged and put to sleep. Due to their large body size, it was nearly impossible the sleeping chemical to spread enough through their bloodstream. Deralites tolerated settlements of other species, as long as they were allowed to use them.
