[Source] Albrich was a Nilfgaardian mage in service to Emperor Emhyr. He was part of the group of mages who tried pinpoint Ciri's location for the Emperor, but with no success since the distance was too far. Later, during the celebration of the victory in Battle of Aldersberg, Emhyr noticed Albrich and Fringilla Vigo and called them "lazy freeloaders" for their failure.
