The wild horse, or horse of the plains, were hard to break and could not be used as mounts, although more tame mixed-breeds of rhovanian wildhorses and easterling-horses were often trained as such. Much used by Easterlings, they were later herded in Calenardhon. A few might be found in the marshes, for they did not mind swimming.
