Arnold aep Bluhm was a commander of a defense brigade stationed at the Nilfgaardian Embassy’s estate in Beauclair, Toussaint. He blamed himself for the robbery of a caravan that was transporting wine purchased for the imperial court, and when the Toussaint Ducal Guard proved unable to find out which local hanse was responsible for the attack he made a decision. He himself personally oversaw the escorting of the next caravan safely beyond Toussaint’s borders, which cost him his life.
