The Sym-voyage was a form of virtual reality simulation that was popular during the last decades of the Galactic Republic. The simulation allowed patrons to visit any number of remote, exotic, or popular planets without actually leaving their homeworld. The simulations contained a wide spectrum of "reality", depending on how much an individual was willing to pay for the experience.
