Tajak is a lean-faced Dagashi, the leader of the Dagashi patrol. He is described as having slate-hard black eyes, black robes, and a harshly accented voice. He offered Sadi, posing as Ussa of Sthiss Tor, an opportunity to make some money. Upon taking his offer, Tajak took the party to Chief Elder Jaharb at Mount Kahsha, the headquarters of the Dagashi. Then Tajak was responsible for escorting the party from Mount Kahsha to a ferry in the Gulf of Urga across from Rak Urga, where he left them.
