The strike team eventually succeeded in their mission to plant the charges in the shield generator and detonate them, causing a massive explosion. It should be noted that not all members of the strike team fought on the planet; some members battled above the orbit of the planet, also with minimal to no casualties, although the Acorn forces were almost completely outnumbered.
