Arguably Oculus' most renowned characteristic was his ascension to the throne of the Kingdom of Tyûk by his sixteenth year, only two years prior to the outbreak of the Charon invasion. As such, Oculus was by far the youngest of the Sith Kings, which according to King Sycarion IV, led many would-be "kingslayers" to underestimate him only to find their own demise. Xaga Terron stated that there was a period of time when the Brotherhood of Sicarius carried out several contracts for Oclulus, during which time Terron discovered that Oculus literally never slept, and constantly used the Force to sustain his conscious state and sharpness of mind.
