Eragon becomes hungry and eats meat for the first time since entering Du Weldenvarden. He then uses Sloan's true name to compel him to never see his daughter (Katrina) again with a number of enchantments. He also sends him to Du Weldenvarden, keeping him safe with magic and his staff.
