The movie was first teased at the Spookcon 2013 Special Jump Tour in San Francisco, where Jill Thompson made an appearance at a panel to promote the upcoming film. No footage was shown, and the only image that surfaced was the movie's title logo. Not much more information is known at this time, other than the confirmation that the film IS canon to the movie series and will take place after the events of the 5th movie.
