A dog that featured in a Channel 6 news report piqued the interest of Mr. Burns who ordered Smithers to find him. Later when Frank Grimes prevented Homer from drinking a beaker of sulfuric acid by knocking it from his hand, which caused the contents to burn a hole in the wall, Mr. Burns passed by with the dog and Frank was summoned to Burns' office where the latter got angry at him as the dog barked and growled.
