Vermalanx was a Corruptor, a Verminlord steeped in disease. He bore an aura of rot and decay so potent that his very presence could cause an epidemic. At his command, Vermalanx could summon a plague storm, send forth winds of contamination, or cause a host of foes to waste away. His gaze alone could wither a healthy body to nothing before his foes' very eyes. In battle, Vermalanx fought with deadly diseased handscythes.[1a]
