East Japan, also known as North Japan when looked on at a map, was a nation in East Asia. It got separated after the Third World War. In 2009, East Japan reclaimed some of the Kuril Islands and Sakhalin that it lost. Many Russians in small villages disagree, so they tried to fight. In 2010, they gave up and accepted to join. It rejoined West Japan again in the First month of 2011.
