The unnamed Midwife treated pregnant Leanne Battersby when she was brought into Weatherfield General on Boxing Day 2016 with a severe headache. She diagnosed pregnancy-induced hypertension and a kidney infection but not before she had torn a strip off Toyah Battersby and Nick Tilsley for arguing outside the examination room about who was to blame for Leanne's state, telling the pair that their shouting could be overheard and that they weren't helping the situation.
