The "I Told You So Homer" was a home-run that minor league baseball player George Ruth hit during the 1923 Little World Series. Ruth, who was playing for the Baltimore Orioles, stepped up to the plate, and was hit by a fast ball from the Kansas City Blues pitcher. Ruth stood up and announced he'd hit the next one out of the park. Instead, he was hit again in the head. Nonetheless, Ruth stood up and hit the next pitch out of Orioles Park. As he rounded the bases, he, in so many words, told the crowd, "I told you so."
