The Hutet-class dreadnought was a large warship fielded by the Cardassian Union during the 24th century. The Hutet-class was designed as a one ship planetary invasion force. Far larger then previous Cardassian designs the ship could single-handedly mount an invasion of moderately sized and defended systems. It was also built as a statement of Cardassian superiority in wake of the Klingon invasion. The ship's most fearsome weapon was its three large disruptor war cannons, also called "Big Wave cannons". These weapons had the firepower to decimate a continent. (DS9 game: Dominion Wars)
