In arguing the case for war with Iraqin 2002 and 2003, the Bush Administration claimed before Congress and the United Nations that * Iraq and Al Qaeda were allies. They were actually well-known to be mortal enemies. * Iraq had something to do with 9/11. Actually the Al Qaeda attackers were from Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Lebanon or Egypt. * Iraq had WMD. They did not, and there was strong evidence that they did not from international arms inspectors. * Iraq had tried to buy yellowcake uranium from Niger.
