The Terikof belt was an asteroid field located in the Badlands, beyond the Moriya system. Several of the planetoids were Class M and the Maquis used them as hideouts during the early 2370s. In 2371, the belt was the predicted destination of the Val Jean prior to its disappearance in the Badlands.
