Wanda Lavonne Jackson (born October 20, 1937) is an American rockabilly and country music singer who had success in the mid-50s and the 60s. She was one of the first female rockabilly singers to come to popularity during the 1950s. She will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame May 4, 2009.
